Barbecue Rub Recipes - An All-Purpose
Blend For Pork, Beef and Chicken

If you're grilling, frying or oven cooking your meat then knowing how to make homemade barbecue rub recipes is a must! It's super versatile and only takes minutes to make, and can be used to season and flavour beef, pork or chicken. It also make a decent all-purpose seasoning. (See the bottom of the page for links to more of my recipes)

Note: I use a few whole spices for this recipe that I then grind before mixing with the other ingredients. If you only have pre-ground powders available, use these and reduce the amount the recipe requires by half. For example, for 1 tablespoon of peppercorns you would use about 2 teaspoons of pre-ground pepper. Reduce any others you don't have whole by half as well and stir in with any other powders when making.
